From the first meeting with Lance and Brianne in Bagels and Joe, I fell in love with their silly, awesome, in-love personalities. They were such a joy to work with during their engagement session and their wedding day was even better!! From the start of the morning at SISU Salon to the end of the night at Windsor Stables, it was a blast to hang out with these lovebirds! Please join me in congratulating Lance and Brianne ~ Husband and Wife.
Sometimes I take that photo of one of my own children, and it makes my heart get all fluttery and sentimental. Tonight after I picked my boys up from their dad’s house, they were playing outside on our hill and the lighting was as perfect as their hearts. I went inside and grabbed my camera and got back out just in time to watch my middle son fly down the hill on his bike. My favorite poet, Shel Silverstein, never fails me. He always knows the exact words that I could never come up with to describe exactly as my heart feels. Meet Leo, age 7.
Cory was playing baseball for UNL and Julie was on the girls softball team. . . naturally they met and fell in love. The couple lives and is getting married in California, but wanted a special engagement session where they met as well as got engaged, so they found me!! We all got up bright and early on a Friday morning when they were back in town for a friend’s wedding, and met at Haymarket Park to get started and then finished up in a beautiful hazy clearing at Pioneers Park. Cory and Julie were so sweet and it was completely apparent to me that they were also so in love. I had such a blast on their session and I wish them all the blessings in the world on starting a new life together. Congrats on your engagement, Cory and Julie!!View full post »
I met Chelsie and Dustin a couple years ago, before they were engaged, for a session. These high school sweethearts were the sweetest couple then, so I was so excited when I heard they had gotten engaged and wanted me to be their wedding photographer! We met at their grandparent’s house in Fairbury and I got a personal tour of the land from Chelsie’s grandpa and he even helped me by being my reflector holder during the session. Chelsie and Dustin even brought their horses along for the shoot!! I’m super excited to be a part of their wedding this coming October!View full post »
